Today is Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. I consider myself a spiritual human being, I have a core connection to Judaism and Israel and it's a part of my strongest and larger connection to source. Source is what I consider "Us" what some people call God. As I reflect today I recall that I've spent a significant part of my life swaying in the feelings guilt, shame, regret, depression, and unworthiness. As time has flowed and I focused on feeling good, I've learned to let go of these feelings towards myself and others. What comes into the space is some delicious and comforting form of love. "I love myself fully so I can love others freely" is one of my favorite affirmations.
As I read the meaning of Yom Kippur today, one of the aspects that resonated with me was that refraining from eating, drinking, bathing, sexual relations brings us to a pristine state. Well what I've realized is that this pristine state is always here. It's who we are, the universe is in a balance of well being. Those feelings I've mentioned above is what brings us to wobble. Today, my wish for every being is to love ourselves. Today I'm loving myself even more than I already do. The beautiful things and the challenging ones, love what we want to change about ourselves for showing us the path, love the disagreement we had with someone for showing us that someone doesn't need to be wrong for us to be right. It's time to forgive yourself so you can forgive others. Feel what this self love feels like and share it with others. Someone is thinking of you with love right now, reach out to or tag someone you love. I know you feel my love for you. Blessings
