Affirmation of the day: The greatness I see is a reflection of my own.
The Basilica of the Sagrada Família is a monumental church. Construction began in 1882, based on plans drawn up by the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar, and Antoni Gaudí was commissioned to continue the project in 1883. Construction was ongoing.
Every year, millions of people visit the Basilica in Barcelona center.
The Temple has always been an expiatory church, built only from donations.
As Gaudí said: “The Expiatory Church of the Sagrada Família is made by the people and is mirrored in them. It is a work that is in the hands of God and the will of the people.”
When I used to see other people’s greatness, it made me feel small.
It made me feel like myself and my skills were not enough.
It made me feel jealous, resentful, and at times, even hopeless.
Through self-reflection, personal development, and mindset work, I could see that I was coming from a place of scarcity.
When others have things, I cannot have them.
I was wrong. I learned about abundance and prosperity, about flow and attracting the things I want most.
I decided I wanted to feel good.
I choose to feel the oneness and togetherness instead of separation.
I choose to feel happy for people instead of jealous of what they have.
I choose to support my brethren, instead of quietly resenting that which I do not have.
I choose to live my life fully and to love myself fully, understanding that I am great.
I celebrate your greatness.
